The Queen is a boss with 12,500 health.
It resists pierce; spirit does nothing to it at all. Blunt and slash land at full damage, so that is what to bring.
Its hardest hit is bite at 140 pierce and 100 poison, out of 7 attacks.
Some of what it throws is elemental, so poison resistance is worth having.
Of everything craftable,
Lightning Strike,
Frostfire Sledge and
Frostfire Greatsword put the most damage through what it resists.
It always drops
The Queen Trophy and
Majestic Carapace.
There is no altar in the open world. The Queen waits inside the Infested Citadel, a sealed dungeon in the Mistlands. Vegvisirs in Infested Mines mark the citadel, and the door only opens to a
Sealbreaker, forged from nine fragments looted in those same mines. The first fight costs nothing. To face her again, offer three
Seeker Soldier Trophies at the hive seat above the arena.
The whole fight happens inside the citadel. She burrows and resurfaces once wounded, spits globs that poison and slime you, and roars to hatch seekers and broods out of the walls.
Poison Resistance Mead is mandatory. She resists pierce, so eitr magic or a good slash weapon like the
Mistwalker carries the fight. The entrance alcove is a legal cheat: her attacks cannot reach it, adds that chase you inside can be cut down one at a time, and stepping back out earns a free hit while she roars. Her health does not reset when you leave, it only regenerates slowly, so fighting in shifts works.
Built for mages. If you run an eitr build, this power doubles your uptime.
She drops the
Majestic Carapace, which builds the
Artisan Press.
With devcommands enabled, this spawns The Queen in front of you. The third number is the level: 3 spawns a 2-star.
