Best Valheim seeds, tested on the current build

No world in the scan has a shorter total run between all seven altars: Eikthyr 190 m, The Elder 1.1 km, Bonemass 2.0 km, Moder 448 m, Yagluth 2.9 km, Fader 9.4 km, Kall 8.4 km. Haldor is 1.9 km out.

Eikthyr's altar sits 50 m from where you wake up and The Elder is 641 m past him. Bonemass at 3.0 km makes the first three a single session.

The trader is 575 m from spawn, close enough to buy Megingjord off your first coin pile. Eikthyr waits 80 m away.

The kilometre around the stones is 100% Meadows with 0% water and almost nothing else, so the first nights are quiet. Eikthyr is 48 m out.

The nearest Mörkhalla is 6.8 km from spawn and the Winding Tunnels 6.9 km, against a median of 8.4 km and 8.4 km. The Aesir Passage still sits 7.2 km out, which is simply where the Deep North is.

Bonemass 959 m, the nearest Sunken Crypt 828 m and an Infested Mine 714 m. The Swamp phase starts almost immediately.

Copper 74 m from the stones, tin 285 m, silver 279 m and obsidian 229 m. Measured out of 100,186 worlds where we have run the ore pass, and the shortest combined haul of any of them.

A silver vein 223 m from the stones, against a median of 1.2 km across the 100,186 worlds we have run the ore pass on. Silver is the metal this corpus puts furthest away, so a mountain this close to spawn is the rarest thing on this page. Obsidian is 160 m out.

Copper 76 m and tin 63 m, so both halves of bronze are inside a short walk. The combined haul is 139 m against a median of 1.0 km, which is the gap that decides how long the Black Forest phase actually takes.

The seven above each win at something specific. These are simply the next shortest boss runs in the scan, ranked by the distance from spawn to Eikthyr, the Elder, Bonemass, Moder and Yagluth combined. Fader and Kall are left out because they sit in the Ashlands and Deep North bands at the edge of every world.

The seeds every list repeats, run through the same scan on the current build. Some hold up, none beat the scanned winners above, and a few clearly drifted since the guides that made them famous were written.

Distances are meters from the spawn stones to the nearest altar of each boss, measured on the live game version. Seeds generate identically on the same version only, which is exactly why we re-measure instead of repeating old lists.

Each of these has its own page with the full distance table, the start island and a map preview, listed here by what the seed is good for.
