Plant them to grow an oak tree.
Acorns are tree seeds dropped by oak trees when they are chopped down. Planted with a 
Cultivator they grow into an oak over several in-game days, which is the bulk source of 
Finewood in the Black Forest. A seedling needs clear ground immediately around it or it stays a seedling permanently. Acorns stack to 100 and weigh 0.1 each.
