Black Core is a material found in Infested Mines, pulled from the core stands in their rooms and from the ancient chests kept there. It weighs 1, stacks to 20 and can be carried through a portal. Building one of each Mistlands crafting station takes 15 cores in total, and how many a mine holds depends on which rooms it generated: a mine runs anywhere from 16 to 96 rooms, and some hold none at all.
