Black Metal Pickaxe is a two-handed pickaxe forged at the Forge from 3 Yggdrasil Wood and 25 Black Metal. It deals 49 pierce and 49 pickaxe damage, has 210 durability and upgrades to quality 4, gaining 5 of each damage type per level. It adds black marble, soft tissue, buried ancient swords and armour, and flametal veins to what the earlier pickaxes can mine. The vertical swing costs 14 stamina and hits several targets for reduced damage per hit, and carrying it costs 5% movement speed.

Each quality level adds 10 damage and 50 durability. Quality 2 costs the per-level amount, quality 3 twice that and quality 4 four times, so the last level is more than half of the total.
