Flint Axe is a one-handed axe crafted at the Workbench from 4 Wood and 6 Flint for the recipe and 2 Leather Scraps for the first upgrade, doubling at each of the next two. It deals 20 slash and 30 chop, blocks for 4, trains Axes and has 100 durability, gaining 5 slash and 3 chop a level. Its 30 chop still only reaches beech, fir and pine, so it is a faster woodcutter rather than access to new trees. The primary is a three-swing chain with double damage on the last hit at 6 stamina; the secondary is an overhead at 1.5x damage for 12.

Each quality level adds 8 damage and 30 durability. Quality 2 costs the per-level amount, quality 3 twice that and quality 4 four times, so the last level is more than half of the total.
