Frostfire Spear is a one-handed spear made at the Black Forge from one Nord Spear, 20 Bloodgold and one Frostfire Essence. It deals 148 pierce, 88 frost and 12 fire, blocks for 66, trains Spears and holds 400 durability over four quality levels, gaining 10 pierce and 3 of each element a level. The primary attack is a thrust with 1.9 meters of reach at 16 stamina; the secondary throws the spear itself for 1.5x damage at 18 stamina and leaves it on the ground to be picked up. Frost carries 88 of its 248 damage, more than either of the other two types, so a frost-resistant target blunts this spear harder than it does the Nord Spear it was made from.

Each quality level adds 16 damage and 50 durability. Quality 2 costs the per-level amount, quality 3 twice that and quality 4 four times, so the last level is more than half of the total.
