Ice is a material dropped by frozen Greydwarves and Deep North Skeletons, and broken out of black ice shards and frozen corpses. It weighs 1, stacks to 50 and can be carried through a portal. It is a cooking ingredient rather than a building material, going into Fish Soup, Seal Meat Soup, Oat Milk and Lingonberry Juice.
