Paws of the Bear is the first craftable fist weapon, made at the Workbench from 2 Bear Hide, 2 Bear Paw and 4 Leather Scraps. It deals 25 slash, blocks for 5, trains Unarmed and has 300 durability, gaining 4 slash per quality level to quality 4. The primary attack is a two-hit chain at 6 stamina a swing with double damage on the second hit, and the secondary is a kick costing 20 stamina that adds knockback and staggers for 6x. Backstabs do 6x damage and the weapon carries no movement penalty.

Past quality 4, the Forge of Potential will take it one level further for 1 Bronze Battle Idol plus 9 Bear Hide and 9 Leather Scraps. No other station asks for the idol.

Each quality level adds 4 damage and 50 durability. Quality 2 costs the per-level amount, quality 3 twice that and quality 4 four times, so the last level is more than half of the total.
