Wooden Knife is a one-handed knife crafted at the Workbench from 5 Wood, 3 Finewood and 2 Corewood, and it also turns up in chests at stone ship settings. It deals 1 slash and 1 pierce, but it blocks for 12 against the 2 of every metal knife. Both attacks cost 4 stamina: the primary is a three-hit chain, the secondary a forward leap for triple damage, and backstabs deal 6 times damage. It upgrades to quality 4, adding 1 of each damage type a level, and holds 200 durability.

Each quality level adds 2 damage and 50 durability. Quality 2 costs the per-level amount, quality 3 twice that and quality 4 four times, so the last level is more than half of the total.
