Fuling Shaman

Plains Monsters
What to know

Fuling Shaman has 100 health and spawns in the plains.

Spirit does nothing to it at all. Blunt, slash and pierce land at full damage, so that is what to bring.

Its hardest hit is fireball at 100 fire and 20 blunt, out of 6 attacks.

Some of what it throws is elemental, so fire resistance is worth having.

Of everything craftable, Frostfire Crossbow, Thunderblood Crossbow and Lightning Strike put the most damage through what it resists.

It always drops Black Metal Scrap and Bukeperries.

About

Fuling Shaman is the support caster of the Plains tribe, with only 100 health and a run speed of 2 meters per second, so it can neither take a hit nor escape one. Its barrier absorbs 100 damage for every ally within 6 meters and holds for up to 40 seconds on a 40 second cooldown, which is why it is the first thing to kill in a village fight. It throws fireballs for 20 blunt and 100 fire every 3 seconds out to 20 meters and jabs for 100 blunt up close, both harder than anything a common Fuling swings. Every kill drops 1 to 2 Black Metal Scrap and 1 to 2 Bukeperries, 20 to 40 Coins at 25 percent, and the Fuling Shaman Trophy at 10 percent.

Fighting it

The barrier is the fight: pop it or wait out its 40 seconds and the village loses its armor. Arrows to the shaman first, always, and never eat the fireball while lining up the shot.
