Wood hardened by fire and ash.

Ashwood is the wood of the Ashlands, chopped from scorched trees and gathered from the branches, bushes and stumps around them, with more in the chests inside putrid holes. A stone axe fells the trees, but the biome only opens once the Queen is dead, so it is a late-game resource whatever tools you bring. Each piece weighs 2, stacks to 50 and can be carried through a portal.
