Flametal Shield

The shield is and always will be a viking's most important weapon.

Flametal Shield is a round shield crafted at the Black Forge from 10 Ashwood, 8 Flametal and 2 Asksvin Hide. It blocks for 114, carries 10 blunt damage, has 300 durability, upgrades to quality 3 and trains Blocking. That is the highest block power of any shield that can still parry. It weighs 5 and costs 5% movement speed.

Past quality 3, the Forge of Potential will take it one level further for 1 Flametal Protection Idol plus 40 Ashwood, 16 Flametal and 8 Asksvin Hide. No other station asks for the idol.

Each quality level adds 6 block and 50 durability. Quality 2 costs the per-level amount and quality 3 twice that.
