Chain. It blocks for 104, carries 10 damage, has 200 durability, upgrades to quality 3 and trains Blocking. Like every tower shield it cannot parry, and it costs 10% movement speed and 10% more stamina per dodge roll.
Past quality 3, the Forge of Potential will take it one level further for 1 Black Metal Protection Idol plus 40 Finewood, 16 Black Metal and 8 Chain. No other station asks for the idol.
