As the first man of Midgard, Ask knew it was important to not draw too much attention to himself.
Hood of Ask is a helmet forged at the Black Forge from 15 
Linen Thread, 4 
Lox Pelt and 10 
Asksvin Hide. It gives 28 armour, plus 2 per quality level to 34 at quality 4, on 1000 durability. The 
Breastplate of Ask and 
Trousers of Ask take the same four materials in the same amounts and give the same 28, so the set is 84 armour before upgrades and 102 at quality 4.
Past quality 4, the Forge of Potential will take it one level further for 1 Flametal Protection Idol plus 45 Linen Thread, 9 Lox Pelt and 22 Asksvin Hide. No other station asks for the idol.

Each quality level adds 2 armor and 200 durability. Quality 2 costs the per-level amount, quality 3 twice that and quality 4 four times, so the last level is more than half of the total.
