Serpent Scale Shield is a tower shield crafted at the Forge from 10 
Finewood, 4 
Iron and 8 
Serpent Scale. It blocks for 60, bashes for 10 blunt, weighs 5, holds 250 durability and upgrades to quality 3. Blocking with it also resists pierce damage, which no other shield does. It costs 10% movement speed and 10% more stamina per dodge roll, and like every tower shield it cannot parry.
Past quality 3, the Forge of Potential will take it one level further for 1 Silver Protection Idol plus 40 Finewood, 8 Iron and 16 Serpent Scale. No other station asks for the idol.

Each quality level adds 6 block and 50 durability. Quality 2 costs the per-level amount and quality 3 twice that.
