It deals 45 slash and 45 pierce and blocks for 24, far above the 2 a one-handed knife manages, though using both hands rules out a shield. The primary is a three-hit chain at 14 stamina a swing with no bonus on the final hit, the secondary is a leap for triple damage at 42 stamina, and backstabs multiply by 6. Damage rises only 1 per type per level, to 48 and 48 at quality 4 on 250 durability, and the three upgrades add 24 iron and 24 black metal.

Each quality level adds 2 damage and 50 durability. Quality 2 costs the per-level amount, quality 3 twice that and quality 4 four times, so the last level is more than half of the total.
