Black Marble Protection Idol

This mysterious idol is brimming with the potential of the gods. It could grant a powerful boon, or demand a great sacrifice.

Black Marble Protection Idol is the tier 5 upgrade material for armour, called for by 10 recipes and consumed only at the Forge of Potential, one per attempt to push a finished piece past its normal quality cap. At 5.65% a roll on the Dvergr tower table it is the most common idol in the game, out of the treasure chests in ruined Mistlands guard towers, with the Ashlands morgen holes, charred fortresses and Plains chests adding to it. Armour above this tier calls for the Flametal Protection Idol instead.
