This mysterious idol is brimming with the potential of the gods. It could grant a powerful boon, or demand a great sacrifice.

Iron Protection Idol is the tier 2 upgrade material for armour, called for by 12 recipes and consumed only at the Forge of Potential, one per attempt to push a finished piece past its normal quality cap. It drops at 1.09% a roll on the Swamp table, from the chests in Sunken Crypts, Swamp graves and ruins, and at lower odds from Black Forest ruins, Burial Chambers and troll caves. Armour above this tier calls for the Silver Protection Idol instead.
