Trollskin is hard to work but makes exceptional armour.
Troll Leather Hood is a helmet crafted at the Workbench from 5 
Troll Hide and 3 
Bone Fragments. It gives 6 armour and 500 durability, upgrading to quality 4 at 2 more troll hide and 1 more bone fragment for the first upgrade, doubling at each of the next two for 12 armour. It carries no movement penalty. The sneak bonus only applies with 
Troll Leather Tunic and 
Troll Leather Trousers worn as well.
Past quality 4, the Forge of Potential will take it one level further for 1 Bronze Protection Idol plus 9 Troll Hide and 4 Bone Fragments. No other station asks for the idol.

Each quality level adds 2 armor and 200 durability. Quality 2 costs the per-level amount, quality 3 twice that and quality 4 four times, so the last level is more than half of the total.
With devcommands enabled, this drops Troll Leather Hood at your feet. The ID is case sensitive; the last number is the amount.
