Troll Leather Tunic
Trolls are hard to skin but their leather is tough and warm.
Troll Leather Tunic is a chest armour piece crafted at the Workbench from 5 
Troll Hide, with no other material involved. It gives 6 armour, 2 more per quality level to 12 at quality 4, on 500 durability. Worn with 
Troll Leather Trousers and the 
Troll Leather Hood it adds 15 to the Sneak skill.
Past quality 4, the Forge of Potential will take it one level further for 1 Bronze Protection Idol plus 9 Troll Hide. No other station asks for the idol.

Each quality level adds 2 armor and 200 durability. Quality 2 costs the per-level amount, quality 3 twice that and quality 4 four times, so the last level is more than half of the total.
