Bloodgold Protection Idol

This mysterious idol is brimming with the potential of the gods. It could grant a powerful boon, or demand a great sacrifice.

Bloodgold Protection Idol is the tier 7 upgrade material for armour, called for by 11 recipes and consumed only at the Forge of Potential, one per attempt to push a finished piece past its normal quality cap. It rolls at 0.36% on the Mörkhalla Ancient Chest table and comes from nowhere outside Mörkhalla and the Deep North: the Ancient Chests and Jotun's Chests there, the ship settings, and the Deep North shipwrecks. Tier 7 is the ceiling, so no idol replaces it at higher levels and every end-game armour set finishes on this one.
