The Swamp is Valheim at its most oppressive, bare ancient trees over knee-deep water that slows you and drains stamina. Eight creatures live in it, more than any biome before it, and 8 resources including the scrap iron that defines the entire mid game. Bonemass is the boss, and the Wishbone he drops is the only reliable way to find buried silver later.
